I’ve been totally addicted to watching julia child recently on youtube. today I made her casserole baked chicken with tarragon, its stuffed with a mushroom stuffing. i got the recipe from her world famous book: “mastering the art of french cooking,” which she introduced american home cooks to the wonders of french cooking, this was in the 50’s when everyone cooked from a box or can opener. a kitchen revolutionary. her television show “the french chef” was the first of its kind making her the first television chef. if you haven’t watched the film “julie and julia,” which was made two or so years ago, meryl streep does a great impression of the quirky julia child, her years in paris and abroad. i also just rewatched the film in my julia child obsessed haze, which is also why i made her recipe tonight. it was so worth it, im definitely making it again… sorry there wasn’t time to take a photo. got eaten real fast!
